Provides professional education programs such as the Stroke Congress and the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress and resuscitation courses to keep healthcare providers up to date; implements multi-pronged programs focused on key issues of emerging concern. 5. Advocates for positive social change on issues such as vaping and smoke free laws, provincial stroke systems, sugar, universal access to medication and widespread access to AEDs. 6. Provides public CPR/AED education. 7. Develops, updates and adapts the clinical guidelines on resuscitation, first aid, and Stroke best practices for Canada. 8. Leads a team of Community Specialists to engage with local communities and partners and identify local health issues and needs relevant to our mission.
