Ongoing programs:
The Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) is dedicated to creating an inclusive world where people with disabilities are living to their full potential. For over three decades, the Foundation has facilitated collaboration, forged partnerships and generated social innovations. We continue to develop programs and initiatives that raise awareness, change attitudes and remove barriers in the built environment for people with disabilities. We also fund innovative spinal cord injury related research through partnerships with organizations such as the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD). Our programs and initiatives include the RHF School Program, RHF Ambassador presentations, awareness campaigns, the RHF Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) Program and accessibility improvement grants. The Foundation is accredited by the Imagine Canada's Standards Program, demonstrating our ongoing adherence to best practices in board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management and volunteer involvement.

New programs:
We offer a range of accessibility advisory services designed to support multi-site and large scale public and private organizations on their journey towards increased accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.
