Ongoing programs: The Society provides assistance in developing positive mentoring relationships between children and responsible adult role models. BBBS Cowichan Valley provides one to one mentoring experiences in the Community programs Big Brothers; Big Sisters; Couples for Kids; Cross Gender & Big Family. Service is also provided for In School Mentoring Programs, Teen Mentoring; Adult In School Mentoring & Seniors for Kids with partnership schools. We also run Go Girl's Mentoring Program for girls promoting active living, balanced diet and feeling good. "Serving as role models, our mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, of staying in school, and for having respect for family, peers and community" BBBS Canada.
