Ongoing programs: Canadian Feed The Children is an international development and relief agency formed in 1986. The charity works with local partners internationally and with Indigenous communities across Canada to deliver community-led food security, livelihoods, education, health and partnership capacity strengthening programs. These include: 1) Food sovereignty initiatives in partnership with Indigenous nations in Canada 2) Gender equality programs supporting girls’ health and education and women’s livelihoods 3) Climate-adaptive and market-led agricultural business incubation that boost agricultural production and income 4) Community resilience building, enabling families and communities to withstand climate and other stressors for long-term, sustainable economic development

New programs: In 2021 new programs include: • Food Forest Initiative a community-led program in partnership with 4 Indigenous communities, creating spaces that blend permaculture and traditional Indigenous practices to create sustainable spaces that improve the supply of locally grown produce, traditional Indigenous medicines, supports reconnections to the land, and improves environmental sustainability. • In Bolivia, we funded and supported the development of a full curriculum for a technical high-school diploma in Gastronomy in partnership with Instituto Politecnic Tomas Katari and the Ministry of Education in Sucre district, Bolivia
