Ongoing programs: Health partners International of Canada (HPIC) is a unique canadian registered charity that has been dedicated to increasing access to medicine and improving health for the most vulnerable people in the world since 1990. Canada 's pharmaceutical and healthcare industry works with HPIC to treat the most vulnerable people in the world. Through HPIC's Canadian volunteer and global humanitarian network, HPIC equips medical mission teams, stocksclinics and hospitals in impverished communities, mobilizes medical relief during emergencies and builds local capacity. Every $1 donated to HPIC delivers at least $10 of essential medicine. In 2018 year, HPIC provided treatment to an estimated more than 800,000 children and adults in developing (...) countries. HPIC provides services through three key programs: Humanitarian Medical Kits: equip Canadian doctors, healthcare professionals and volunteers with the medicines and medical supplies they need for health projects in the developing world. Bulk medicines program: HPIC works with partner agencies to stock clinics and hospitals by providing skids of medicines of medicines and medical supplies. Emergency medical relief: HPIC provided emergency medical relief to Syria, and to the Caribbean and Central America.

New programs: HPIC staff implemented a pharmaceutical management project in Ghana in 2018, a country of focus going into 2018 with three projects in different stages.
