Programs and activities:

Ongoing programs: Melanoma Canada (MC) provides support services, information resources, research support for individuals whose lives have been changed by melanoma. MC is the leading voice for melanoma patients in Canada for early detection of disease and improved treatment access. The organization works diligently to prevent more Canadians from developing melanoma through public awareness and youth and adult education on sun safety and skin monitoring.

New programs: MC will for the first time host our peer 2 peer support program in French, offering this incredible service to French speaking melanoma and skin cancer patients to help navigate their cancer journey. MC will also launch a new clinical trials finder, hosted within our website to improve Canadians (FR/EN) access to innovative treatment therapies. MC is also in the process of developing our second online CME accredited course to educate primary care physicians on diagnosing melanoma and skin cancers in darker skin.
