Ongoing programs: WE Villages: In Asia, Africa, and Latin America, WE implement a holistic, effective five-pillar model(Water, Health, Food and Opportunity) focusing on addressing the root caurses of poverty and remove the barriers to education. We Day and We Schools provide youth with the inspiration, tools and opportunities to become active local, national and global citizens. By instilling active citizenship, increasing academic engagement and improving the university and workplace readiness of participants, We Day and We Schools equips today's youth leaders for a better tomorrow. The Canada Student Service Grant(CSSG) was an initiative of the Government of Canada designed to support young Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program launced in June 2020, and on July 3, 2020. WE and ESDC announced a mutual agreement to transition the program tot the Government of Canada.
