The YMCA is a charity dedicated to building healthy communities by fostering a sense of belonging for all. By creating safe and welcoming spaces that serve people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, the YMCA is committed to ensuring everyone has the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. Our programs and services reflect community needs and, through YMCA financial assistance programs, are accessible to all, regardless of income level. Our core offerings include Child Care; Youth Engagement; Camps; Health, Fitness and Aquatics; Education and Training; Employment Services; Community Initiatives and Global Initiatives. YMCA Canada plays a leadership role in the development of strong and relevant Canadian YMCA and YMCA-YWCA Member Associations; encourages collaborative initiatives; protects and enhances the reputation of the YMCA and advocates on behalf of Member Associations regionally, nationally and internationally.
