Ongoing programs: CONVENING COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS MEETINGS ON IMPROVING HEALTH EQUITY FOR BLACK POPULATIONS. PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY HEALTH PROMOTION, EDUCATION AND DISSEMINATION. LOCAL FUND RAISING EFFORTS SUCH AS A WALKATHON. RESEARCH INITIATIVE: THE PATHWAYS TO CARE PROJECTS AIMS TO REMOVE BARRIERS AND IMPROVE ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES FOR BLACK CHILDREN, YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES IN ONTARIO. THE PROJECT IS A FOUR-YEAR STRATEGIC COLLABORATION BETWEEN BLACK HEALTH ALLIA NCE, TAIBU COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE, THE CENTRE FOR ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH (CAMH), EAST METRO YOUTH SERVICES, AND WELLESLEY INSTITUTE, WITH ADDITIONAL PARTNERS OUTSIDE OF TORONTO. TARGET CITIES INCLUDE, TORONTO, WINDSOR, LONDON, HAMILTON AND OTTAWA.

New programs: EMERGING PARTNERSHIPS WITH UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK LIVING ORGAN TISSUE DONAT ION AND CANADIAN PARTNERSHIP AGAINST CANCER.
