Ongoing programs: The 519 is a City of Toronto agency and a registered charity that provides space, leadership and service to the broader LGBTQ community. From providing vital supports to LGBTQ newcomers and refugees, to developing new education and training programs to combat transphobic and homophobic language in the workplace, to creating opportunities for engaging LGBTQ members in sport. the 519 works to create a warm and welcoming environment that allows individuals, groups and organizations to be themselves and excel. Our core program areas include: Family Resources, Newcomer and Settlement services, Trans programs and services, drop-in food programs and sport inclusion. The 519's mandate is to contribute to the advancement of LGBTQ equity and inclusion in Toronto and beyond.
