Ongoing programs: 1. Settlement & Employment Services which includes case assessments, information/orientation, counseling and referrals. Settlement workers offer individualized support with a wide range of practical and emotional needs: immigration matters, education and training, job search and career planning, social assistance and housing, health and emotional needs, family issues. 2. Senior and Youth Settlement Programs; 3. Language Instruction for Newcomers Program and Childminding; 4. Community Mental Health Program: Counseling, support groups, parenting program and anger management; 5. Newcomer Skills Project: Participatory research, community engagement, public education and public policy work on issues of newcomer employment and civic participation.

New programs: 6. The Organization is involved in community engagement work which as focused on building civic participation to address systemic barriers to fair and meaningful employment in newcomer communities. The Organization works alongside immigrants and refugees to build analysis and policy recommendations, develop advocacy skills and understanding of our political context, and establish partnerships for collective action and a stronger, more effective voice. 7. The Organization's Counter-Human Trafficking team works closely with all individuals who have experienced any form of human trafficking, including labour trafficking, sexual exploitation, and forced marriage. Regardless of status in Canada, we provide comprehensive case management and trauma-informed, culturally competent services to survivors, including: intake and orientation, basic needs, safety planning, coordination and delivery of services pertaining to mental health counselling and emotional support. Referrals can be made for housing, legal services, job training, life skills workshops, and assistance with educational needs.
