Need a Digital Access Code?

Digital Access Code (DAC) Online lets you obtain a system generated DAC in order to be able to file your:

• Underused Housing Tax return online using the webform, or
• your special election or return via third party software products that don't support the functionality to generate a DAC for you.

This DAC is valid for one calendar year (January 1st - December 31st) regardless of when in that year it was obtained.

To obtain a digital access code you will need to enter:

For an individual *required for Underused Housing Tax Return only;

• Social Insurance Number (SIN) or Individual Tax Number (ITN) or Temporary Tax Number (TTN)
• First and Last name
• Date of birth and
• Postal Code, ZIP code, or Country Code of mailing address

For a Business (BN-RU *required for Underused Housing Tax Return only);

• Underused Housing Tax account number (BN-RU)
• Registration Date
• Name of owner
• Postal Code, ZIP code, or Country Code of mailing address

For a Business (BN-RC *required for Special Election or Return only);

• Corporation Business Number (BN-RC)
• Incorporation Date
• Postal Code, ZIP code, or Country Code of books and records address

For a Business (BN-RZ *required for Special Election or Return only);

• Partnership Business Number (BN-RZ)
• Registration Date
