Ongoing programs: The Calgary Stampede Foundation creates programs and places for youth to thrive, creating motivated and engaged young Calgarians, empowered to do amazing things. Programs include: 1) Training for youth in the performing arts (Young Canadian School of Performing Arts, Stampede Showband, Showriders, Band of Outriders) 2) Agriculture-related school environment programs for visiting school classes (Stampede School and OH Ranch Education Program) 3) Scholarships disbursed to youth in the arts, livestock and aricultural areans 4) Agricutural programming for youth (4-H Rodeo and 4-H on Parade) 5) Cultural programming for indigenous youth 6) Operates the Youth Campus - a vital creative area focused on young people that support developing strong community roots through education and the performing arts (including the TransAlta Performing Arts Studios, BMO Amphitheartre and Doherty Hall).
